About me
No one's going to give you permission to do the best work of your life.
At some point during my 16-year journey, I transitioned from marketing to a mission I found deeply rewarding: using design to improve people's lives. I've been fortunate enough to use design to co-found two startups, earn a patent, and collaborate on solving problems across various industries and countries. I've also had my share of failures, each a lesson in its own right.
While I've picked up valuable skills and techniques that have enhanced my work as a designer, my most significant growth has come from embracing my own fallibility. No amount of expertise in usability, typesetting, or design principles can make anyone's ideas infallible. Understanding that has been liberating. The sooner I recognize and acknowledge a mistake, the quicker I can honor it, adjust, and create a design that truly serves the moment.
